The Residential Program provides emergency residential care and YRCII residential care for children ages 10 years through 18 years old.
Juvenile Intake provides on-call assistance to law enforcement, crisis intervention for families, and referral services for further assistance.
Family Services provides family foster care services, including foster parent training and licensing preparation, placement coordination, and on-going support.
The Prevention & Diversion Program includes High School Truancy Prevention and Diversion, Specialized Case Management for at-risk children, and Pre-filing Diversion and/or Conditions of Release case management for first-time juvenile offenders.

Festival of Trees Annual Fundraiser
Held at downtown Lawrence's historic Liberty Hall during the holiday season, the annual Lawrence Festival of Trees is the primary fund-raising event for The Shelter, Inc. Businesses, families, housing groups and clubs donate Christmas trees and holiday wreaths displayed for the entire Lawrence community to enjoy. These trees and wreaths are auctioned off at the gala Festival of Trees party.
